Tearing the Paper off the Wall:
Midnight Mind Magazine Calls it Quits.
3 years – Six Issues – 1 great time
After 3 years and 6 issues, and a ton of fun, we here at Midnight Mind Magazine are calling it quits. It has been fun. We have met great people, talented authors, and made new friends. We will miss it.
We started Midnight Mind Magazine with one goal. To have fun. We created a team and stayed up late. We brainstormed and we had dreams. We wanted to make a magazine worth keeping on your bookshelf. We wanted to create a community. We wanted to introduce you to great authors. And we succeeded.
The staff at Midnight Mind is made up of creative people. We all have creative ideas that cannot be expressed through the magazine. We have realized that it has come to the point where Midnight Mind is standing in the way of some of those goals.
Thank you all for being part of the magazine and part of our small world. Personally, it has made me feel better about the people around me. That people can think for themselves, seek out independent voices, and support ideas that they believe in is a valuable thing. And it makes me happy to see it.
I will leave you with the closest thing we ever had to a tagline: Who is Midnight Mind? You are.
Best and thanks,
