Sandy Feinstein has a long history with travel — from going cross country countless times as an undergraduate to working in numerous places in the U.S. (Tennessee, California, Kansas) and abroad (Denmark, Bulgaria, Syria). Her chapbook, Swimming to Syria (Penumbra, 2021) followed her earliest poems on Syria, Denmark, and Yugoslavia appearing twenty years ago in the Princeton Arts Review, Slant, and Crab Creek Review. Her most recent poems, on Egypt, will appear in the December issue of Philly Chapbook Review.
