Paul Doty has lived in eight locales in the Northeast and Midwest, and for almost three decades he and his wife Agnes have resided and raised their children in St Lawrence County, New York. He is the Special Collections librarian at St. Lawrence University, and Agnes is associated with the Canton Free Library. He has poems with various online and print publications, and has written two other Alfred poems.
One of his Alfred poems is included in Midnight Mind Number Nine.
