“Loren MacLeod” is the pen-name of a magazine editor at the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, DC, who writes speculative short fiction. Her work has been published by many print and electronic venues, including Chiaroscuro, Flesh & Blood, Glyph, Harpur Palate, Hadrosaur Tales, and Twilight Showcase. She has work in the prose anthologies Dead But Dreaming: New Excursions Into the Lovecraftian Universe (Darktales Press), Wet: More Aqua Erotica (Crown Books), and Darkness Rising (Prime Books).
Her work was featured in Midnight Mind Number Six.
