John Thompson was the online editor of MidnightMind.com from 2001 to 2004. A job that made the previous occupations he had, (waiter, bartender, working in a coffee bar) handy since he still needed another job to get by. He grew up south of San Francisco and moved to NYC shorty after going to college. When you read this, he is hard at work on the site or smoking cigarettes up on the roof of his apartment — two things he enjoys without equal.
