Jeffrey Swanberg is a freelance photographer from Rockford, Illinois, began seeing life through a camera lens over thirty years ago during photojournalism classes at Northern Illinois University. Since then he has traveled and photographed people and scenes in over twenty countries including extensive travel throughout the United States.
His photos have appeared on book covers – Generation to Generation (Papier-Mache Press, 1998) The Tenderness of Memory (Plain View Press, 1994), and Tonight on This Late Road (Erie Street Press, 1984) – on calendars (Sports Car Club of America), and in journals.
He has exhibited his work in galleries, including Gallery Ten, Lundeen Gallery, and Womanspace where he had a solo show that featured twenty of his most recent works.
His photography is featured in Midnight Mind Number Three.
