Devin Murphy a is a national bestselling author of the novels The Boat Runner (2017) and Tiny Americans (2019) published by Harper Perennial, and the short story collection, Unbend the River (2024), published by Black Lawrence Press. His recent shorter work appears in Glimmer Train, The Missouri Review, The Sun, Outside Magazine and New Stories from the Midwest as well as many others. He is currently a Professor of Creative Writing at Bradley University and lives in Chicago.
