Dave Runyon grew up in the mid-Michigan area and is a graduate of Michigan State University’s respected James Madison College. In 1988 he was awarded a degree in International Relations with certification in Social Perspectives on Global Interdependence.
Since then, he has resettled United Nations designated refugees, attempted graduate school and acted in the independent film Into the Darkest Mind by Lansing filmmaker Chris O’Hara.
In 1999, Dave contributed to Directions Magazine, focusing on entertainment reviews. “Retro-Rewind”, touted obscure music in the dusty section of the music store and “MoviesMates” was its counterpart in the video store.
Currently, Dave again calls mid-Michigan home and has been working tirelessly on perfecting the “Perfect” gin martini. Dave’s work appears in KEY WEST: A COLLECTION
