Carol Barre lived and worked in Sugarloaf Key from 1992 to 2000. “The Key West Women Writers Collective was a great support to my development as a writer.” Her poems and essays have appeared in Chicken Soup for the Unsinkable Soul, Vermont Voices, Creations Magazine and Starfish. She currently lives in Wilmington, NC. Her work appears in Key West: A Collection.
